It is certainly not pleasant to feel someone could be eavesdropping or viewing within one's home or private space, or to think it's been happening while you were unaware.

Don't give up. Just do what you can to protect your privacy. Close any loopholes in physical and electronic security and, if you seek advice, do it from somewhere else if possible. In my situation, I had a sneaky feeling the chap and his co-conspirator were in a type of security set-up themselves, and they displayed hardware feeling confident that no-one would realise, or could get anyone to believe it, so nothing would be done.

Anyway, who'd believe it could be used in ways not intended?
